A tour "in search of the lost time" dedicated to those who love the history of aeronautics and want to try their hand at old airplanes and other times.
Twelve legs around Italy, to fly according to the attached briefing: each leg represents a theme and a different situation to deal with.
This tour is anything but easy, but we hope it will result immersive and fun.

Un tour "alla ricerca del tempo perduto" dedicato a chi ama la storia dell'aeronautica e vuole cimentarsi con velivoli e situazioni di altri tempi.
Dodici tappe in giro per l'Italia, da volare secondo le indicazioni del briefing che alleghiamo: ogni tappa prevede un tema e una situazione diversa da affrontare.
In definitiva si tratta di un tour tutt'altro che facile: vi impegnerà a fondo ma speriamo che risulti immersivo e divertente.

• The legs must be carried out in the order indicated, connected to the IVAO network, at the normal simulation speed and with real weather conditions. Daylight simulation is allowed.
• Before the taxi to the runway and after the final stop you have to stay online for at least 6 minutes.
• The use of the FSACARS tracking software is mandatory.
• Once you have completed a leg, in addition to sending the report via FSACARS, fill in and send the PIREP through this page, where you will also find the status of your tour.
• Pay attention to the completion of the flight plan, respect for the charts and the Visual Flight Rules; always make sure you have the VMC for the entire route. Although this is a "vintage" tour, the pilot has to follow the rules and air spaces currently in use.
• The legs must be flown on propeller planes with piston engines built prior to 1970, possibly following the indications given in the table and in the briefing for the various stages, but at the discretion of the pilot any propeller aircraft prior to 1970 can be used.
• The route from the airport of departure to that of arrival for each leg is indicated in the briefing, but it is possible to change it at the discretion of the pilot.
• All P zones and Class A airspaces are prohibited. The R, D and TRA zones for the purposes of this tour are considered open to the flight.
• The use of autopilot and GPS is prohibited. The use of NDB and VOR is allowed. This condition can not be verified and is intended to be respected "on the word".
• The tour is open to all SCI pilots with a ranking of Student or higher.
• Upon completion of the tour you will be awarded on your personal flight book.

• Le tappe vanno svolte nell’ordine indicato, connessi al network di IVAO, alla normale velocità di simulazione e con condizioni meteo reali. È ammessa la daylight simulation.
• Prima del taxi verso la pista e dopo il taxi verso lo stand/apron bisogna rimanere online fermi per un periodo di almeno 6 minuti.
• E' obbligatorio l'uso del software di tracciamento FSACARS.
• Una volta percorsa una tappa, oltre a inviare il report mediante FSACARS compilate e inviate anche il PIREP tramite questa pagina del tour, nella quale troverete anche lo status del vostro tour.
• Prestate attenzione alla compilazione del piano di volo, al rispetto delle carte e alle regole del volo a vista; assicuratevi sempre di avere le VMC per lo svolgimento dell’intera tratta. Pur essendo un tour "vintage" si fa riferimento alle regole e spazi aerei vigenti ATTUALMENTE.
• Le tratte debbono essere volate con aerei a elica e motore a pistoni anteriori al 1970, possibilmente seguendo le indicazioni riportate nella tabella e nel briefing in modo differenziato per le varie tappe, ma a discrezione del pilota con qualsiasi aereo a elica anteriore al 1970.
• Il percorso dall’aeroporto di partenza a quello di arrivo per ciascuna tappa è indicato nel briefing, ma è possibile variarlo a discrezione del pilota.
• Sono proibite tutte le zone P e gli spazi aerei di classe A. Le zone R, D e TRA ai fini di questo tour si considerano aperte al volo.
• E' proibito l'utilizzo dell'autopilota e del GPS. E' consentito l'impiego di NDB e VOR. Questa condizione non potrà essere verificata per cui si intende rispettata "sulla parola".
• Il tour è aperto a tutti i piloti SCI con ranking Student o superiore.
• Al completamento del tour vi sarà assegnato l’award nel Vostro personale libretto di volo.
